On Friday, Aug. 5, in honor of the Feast of Our Lady of Health, the small medieval village of Volastra will be festively colored. Here are the scheduled events.

6 p.m. – Procession through the streets of the village with the effigy of the Virgin
9 p.m.-Theatrical performance put on by the village children

We recommend visiting the church, formerly named after San Lorenzo, and strolling through the cool carrugi of the village, enjoying a pleasant break on the way to or from Corniglia.
